  TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

The Vykson 140 is a purpose designed gas turbine engine specifically
for these markets. Electrical power of 120 kW and hot water output
(optional) of 200 kW. It is recuperated and operates at around 30%
electrical efficiency.

Power is produced by a conventional 1500 rpm Asynchronous
generator for grid connection. Our specially developed two stage
combustor will burn gas down to 10% methane and possibly lower.
We have developed our own turbine driven centrifugal gas
compression system that is integral with the engine, and compresses
the large amounts of gas required.

Applications include CHP and CO2 production for greenhouses.

  FUTURE MARKETS/FUELS

Mine Gas
Woodgas
Digester Gas
Flare Gas
Animal waste
Sugar Cane (Bagasse)
Glycerin
Waste vegetable oil
Palm oil
Other plant derived oils

There will be applications for
burning low quality gas that
will attract Carbon Credits.

We are shortly starting to
develop the next size of engine
that will be over 300 kW.
